The Air Jordan 11 is more synonymous with patent leather than any shoe in history. Later this year, it throws it all away for one brief, torrid dalliance with another material. I give you the Air Jordan 11 Suede.
The name is . . . well, pretty self-explanatory. A nappier raw-like suede is draped over every inch of the upper, replacing the usual patent, Cordura mesh and even the occasional pop of leather. Dark grey is layered on in monochromatic fashion, a cool, neutral style that allows the timeless design and premium materials to sit front row-center.
At the moment, there’s no Air Jordan 11 Suede release date on the books beyond “later this year.” Stay tuned for updates! Will this work?
