The Oregon Ducks host the Oregon State Beavers this Friday, the 119th such meeting between the two football teams and in-state arch rivals. When the Ducks take the field, they’ll wear the Oregon 33 uniforms, a brand new look for the team. We’d expect nothing less.
Inspired by Oregon, the thirty-third state in the Union and a breeding ground for innovation, the uniform blends classic and contemporary, putting a futuristic spin on traditional camouflage. (Yes, a bit like their Oregon Pioneers uniforms from October.) A reimagined, more geometric camouflage pattern is cloaked over the jersey, executed in a Kelly green base with darker tonal shapes. The “futuristic” style of camo was created to mirror the University of Oregon’s forward-thinking approach and ground-breaking style of play.
The green jersey is paired with yellow pants and helmet, the latter featuring the same Soaring Duck graphic that was seen on Oregon’s spring game uniforms. The decal also incorporates the same camo print as the uniform, and finishes with a silver “O” on the back.
