Renowned for its ability to remix classic silhouettes in innovative new technologies — well, among many reasons for renown — Nike Sportswear may just have another hit on its hands: the Nike Dunk Ultra.
The “new” model is awfully familiar, of course; the all-leather Dunk upper is status quo, unchanged in its iconic curves and panels. Below is the big change though.
That famous Dunk midsole is redone in the lightweight cored foam composition typical of Ultra models — largely unchanged aesthetically, but for two deep grooves along the sides. Sleeker, lighter and endlessly cushy. Not a bad change at all.
Today, check out the first two Nike Dunk Ultra colorways — plaid-tinged red and black leather looks — and pick ’em up at spots like Oneness, retailing for $120.
