Tomorrow’s Air Max Day, and you know what that means: a host of jaw-dropping Max Air-equipped drops from the Swoosh. Despite the impressive release roster though, it’s easy to narrow it down to arguably the best — the Nike Air Max Zero Vivid Sulfur.
Briefly launched (and instantly sold through) back in January, the yellow Air Max Zero represents a true page from history. The Zero, hence the name, was the shoe that Tinker Hatfield designed with every intention of it being the Air Max 1, before fate and a lack of necessary technology intervened. Tinker’s original design sketch bore this colorway, pairing seamless white overlays and a yellow mesh base, so this is truly the Air Max Zero — and the Air Max line in general, really — coming full circle.
