Earlier this week we gave you a look at the upcoming Nike Air Max Zero Essential collection, which finally will finally make the one before the 1 widely available. (Remember, the Zero was originally conceived as an Air Max 1 prototype.) That’s not all the model has in store this year though. . . .
It looks like the Air Max Zero will also be the centerpiece to this year’s #BeTrue collection, Nike’s annual limited run of shoes and gear that celebrates the LGBT community and raises money for affiliated charitable initiatives.
The Nike Air Max Zero Be True features an über clean white upper, monochromatically cloaking the seamless mesh-and-Fuse construction. That colorful simplicity allows the signature #BeTrue feature to stand out: a rainbow fade, peeking out the visible Max Air unit.
A Nike Air Max Zero Be True release date hasn’t yet been announced. Based on historical precedent though, and the fact that LGBT Pride month is June, sometime in the next month or so seems likely. Stay tuned.
