The Nike SFB has gained something of a following over the years, its rugged, go-anywhere durability endearing itself to military personnel, first responders and folks who just like a sturdy bit of utilitarianism. Now, it looks like the model’s design sensibilities are rubbing off an a Nike classic.
Seemingly blending the rugged, nearly invincible build of the SFB with the iconic curves of the Uptown, the Nike Air Force 1 Military (we’ll call it) is the latest boot edition of the Force. The paneling and sole of the upper are largely retained, but an ultra-hightop collar comprised of heavy-duty textile now protects the ankle. That’s secured with a strap or two around the top, imparting wildly distinctive aesthetics.
There’s little to no information on the Nike Air Force 1 Military so far — this is a very early look — but, well, what do you think?
