Earth’s most accomplished soccer (football if we must) team, the Brazil National Team will compete in 2016 and beyond wearing brand new kits that embrace its strong tradition.
The new Brazil home kit features the team’s famous “Canarinho” yellow on the shirt, set off by green piping and matching stripes running down under each arm. Engineered knit zones in the mesh create unique geometric patterns, enhancing fit while delivering distinctive aesthetics.
On the chest, the Brazil crest is flanked by five stars, representing the team’s five World Cup championships, while “Brasil” appears below the crest and on the back of the collar. Inside the shirt, national pride motivationals are printed on the cuffs — “Orgulho” (Pride) — while the body is emblazoned with a Brazilian flag intertwined with the team’s rallying cry: “Nascido Para Jogar Futebol” (Born to Play Football).
For away matches, the 2016 Brazil kits will boast the team’s classic blue through the body of the jerseys. Lighter blue subtly contrasts on the sleeves, with pops of yellow appearing in the stitching and around the collar. Like the home jerseys, the away shirt can be paired with blue shorts as well as a classic white option.
The 2016 Brazil kits are available at retailers beginning March 24.
