It’s been twenty-four years since Michael Jordan and the Dream Team took home gold at the Barcelona Olympics. So it’s not quite the milestone twenty-fifth anniversary, or Jordan Brand’s beloved twenty-third — the nature of quadrennial events and all — but they’re celebrating with some must-have throwback gear all the same.
First up, there are the Jordan Olympic VII shirts, a pitch perfect tribute to Michael Jordan, Olympic Gold Medalist. The white and grey tees’ chests are emblazoned with one of the signature features of the upcoming “Tinker Alternate” Olympic VII: the heel-tab, finished with stars and stripes and MJ’s Olympic number, “9.”
The actual Tinker Alternate VII shoe drops in August for $190. The Jordan Olympic VII shirts should hit stores around then if a little earlier, and cost … decidedly less.
