The Jordan Flight Club 91 laid the ground work for the new Flight Club franchise, sporting an aesthetic that clearly borrows heavily from the Air Jordan 6, a shoe that debuted in 1991. Hence the name, of course.
And yet the newest model, the Jordan Flight Club 90, doesn’t seem overly influenced by the 1990 Air Jordan (that being the V), instead opting for a more Air Trainer 1-oriented silhouette. The mid-top cut gives way to an elephant print-adorned mesh side panel, with nubuck around the collar and a leather forefoot strap.
Even the midsole, which is in fact borrowed from a classic Jordan, eshews V style, instead borrowing from the AJ3.
The Jordan Flight 90 Black/Gym Red-Cement Grey is starting to hit select retailers, with more colorways en route.
