It looks like the trend will continue. I’m talking, of course, about the trend of combining classic Air Jordans with running shoe profiles and sole units to create a lowtop, slimmed down Air Jordan. That trend started with the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11, which amalgamated the Air Max 1 and Air Jordan 11. And now comes the Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 (release date November 6th), which combines design aspects of the Air Jordan 12 with a low profile and Max Air unit, a la the Air Max 97. Naturally the kneejerk reaction is often to hate designs that mix two timeless classics but, like CMFT Viz Air 11, something about this just works. And while $135 is a bit steep, it’s cheaper than the Air max 97. The Jordan CMFT Max Air 12 will first release in a black/varsity red-medium grey colorway.
