The Converse Aerojam, a shoe made famous in the early-90s by Larry Johnsons and his promotional alter ego “Grandmama,” finally returned to shelves earlier this month, as the original black/teal colorway publicly relaunched two decades after its debut. Now, a fortnight later, two new colorways of the timeless hoops model are dropping tomorrow, November 26.
Each shoe features the classic 90s aesthetic that even today maintains a contemporary feel, with oversized tongue, plenty of React Juice cushioning and a removable and reversible lace-shroud. Tomorrow’s colorways go grey/orange and grey/black, offering something for those fond of neutral colors as well as those who require a pop of flair.
In addition to grabbing the shoes on shelves — exclusively at Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs, I might add — those stores’ websites will also stock the shoe starting at 8a EST, as will Eastbay.com. Buy it here on Eastbay, if online is your plan.
