For the second straight year, all four teams in the College Football Playoff wear Nike uniforms. Just like a season ago (Oregon, tOSU, Bama, FSU), the brand will celebrate its flag-bearers with subtly updated uniforms for the football final four.
The College Football Playoff uniforms for Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State and Oklahoma pair each team’s classic look with game-changing technology in the form of the Nike Mach Speed uniform — the lightest, fastest uniform ever built. A fractal diamond effect is added to each Swoosh meanwhile, a nod to . . . the crystal football that was the championship trophy of the BCS era? They don’t use that anymore, so that’d be weird. But then, the new trophy is awful, so we’ll happily take this fractal diamond Swoosh and the memories of sports’ greatest trophy that it evokes.
