Well it premiered a week ago, but the “Nike Chosen” full-length ad/film is finally widely available (ie embeddable), so hit the jump to give a watch. It’s an abosolutely amazing showcase of some of Nike’s athletes from less-mainstream sports, including surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and the like. Oh, and it’s all done in the dark, lit with floodlights; surfing included (in the damn ocean!).

More from the “Nike Chosen” campaign, which moves to associate some less traditional sports—BMX, skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, to name a few—with Nike’s classic “Just Do It” slogan. And of course, this all takes place in the dark. Hit the jump for the extended remix, which brings to light (so to speak) some more footage, set to music.

The “Nike Chosen” short film (or ad, or whatever) has been online now for several days, detailing Nike athletes such as surfers, skateboarders and BMXers doing their thing in the dark of night. The video has to be seen as an unequivocal hit (seriously, watch it if you haven’t), so good on Nike that they decided to release some behind-the-scenes videos of the campaign. In commemoration of the Art in the Street exhibit, which documents graffiti and street art, currently underway at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, designer Geoff McFetridge collaborated with Nike SB on this extremely limited (and probably not super-durable) new shoe, which blurs the line between footwear and art. The Geoff McFetridge x Nike SB Paper Dunk High actually sports an upper comprised of paper, covered in a unique print that that varies a bit on each of the 24 shoes that were produced. Nike SB also put together some special edition t-shirts to accompany the shoes, designed by such industry bigshots as Neckface, Futura, Lance Mountain and CR Steyck III.

The shoes will be displayed at the MOCA on-site retail space until May 26th, when they’ll be auctioned off (sizes 9, 10 and 11 only) at 1pm, with the bidding starting at $100 each. In June, another round of products will appear at MOCA, including a Nike SB Blazer designed by Lance Mountain and t-shirts by Geoff McFetridge, CR Stecyk III, Aaron Reimer and Gusmano Cesaretti. All proceeds from both sales will go to benefit MOCA.

In many ways the Nike SB P-Rod 4 is unlike any SB predecessor; it is among the first products in Paul Rodriguez’s new global brand—something no Nike SB skater has had before—and supply will far outstrip that of any previous SB shoe, what with the P-Rod 4 releasing at various mall accounts as well as local skate shops. And now you can add one more thing to that list of firsts: a national TV commercial featuring Paul Rodriguez and hip hop legend Nas.

Set to hit stores in spring 2011 , the new Nike SB Shuttle Bag is the perfect addition for the busy skater: a compartmentalized backpack with pockets that fit everything from your skateboard to your computer, as well as straps on the exterior to hold onto your board. Updating the constant flow of information regarding the new non-sig Eric Koston-influenced shoe, the Nike SB Future Primitive release date now looks like it will land on shelves in February 2011, rather than late 2010 as indicated by its “Holiday” release. The shoe, which greatly resembles a lowtop Zoom Tre AD, has been been broken down a bit more in-depth here.

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new P-Rod 3 on here, primarily because I only do so much Nike SB stuff and the Janoskis are always worth writing about, but check out the new Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez matte silver/black-electric green, releasing at skate shops currently. The shoe sports a flat grey upper with black on the Swoosh and accents and an electric green outsole. You can grab a pair at MIA.

UK spots like flatspot.com are already receiving shipments of Nike SB June releases, stateside we’ll of course have to wait another week or two. Well worth the wait though, because the June set is looking strong, led of course by the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Eric Koston blue ribbon/metallic gold and the Eric Koston x Nike SB Dunk High Premium (Quickstriking later, thus not pictured) and including a P-Rod 2.5, Brian Anderson-inspired Blazer CS (that new sort-of-mid cut) and a few others. Set to hit Nike SB (and the occasional 6.0) accounts toward the end of summer and beginning of fall, here’s a sample of the Nike SB Zoom P-Rod 4 black/white, one of the first completed looks we’ve had at the next Paul Rodriguez signature shoe. New Nike Paul Rodriguez commercial now out, featuring P-Rod skating while wearing the Air-collecting contraptions introduced in the “Secret Behind Nike Air” commercial. Cameos include “some dude in tennis gear” and Maria Sharapova.

Check out this video of Nike SB’s Australian team, guys like Shane O’Neil and Mike Martin, doing their thing throughout the streets of Oz. I’m not a skater, but I do really enjoy these videos that Nike SB occasionally puts together.

Here’s another May Nike SB general release, the Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski white/white perforated leather, featuring an entirely white upper with a bit of black around the midsole and on the tongue tag, and the perforations covering the entire shoe, sort of giving it a black-on-white appearance. Whatever it is, it works quite well, as do most of the Janoskis. Look for these at your local skate shop this weekend or next. And check out more pictures after the jump.

Now available on kasina.co.kr and hitting local skate shops in the next couple of weeks, check out the Nike SB P-Rod 2.5 grand purple/varsity maize, featuring the purple over the entire upper—largely suede—with the yellow shade on the Swoosh and laces. The shoe is finished off with a white vulc rubber midsole and a yellow outsole. Check out more pictures after the jump.

Hitting stores over the next couple of weeks, this is the Nike Zoom Bruin SB orange/black-white, featuring an all suede, orange upper, a black Swoosh and a white sole unit. The shoe comes with both orange and black laces, allowing for the choice of a contrasting or monotone look on top.
