So at some point in the very near future I’m going to start doing a newsletter. This is a good thing because all media is good, and media that is delivered to you for free is better. Everyone knows this. It’s why RSS feeds get us all warm and tingly. Also, I’ll be conveniently summing up information for you in a small space, and will have an easier format for reminding you of release dates or amending/updating information, as well as a good method to run some contests when I decide to do so in the near future. And emails are easier to deal with from a mobile device than is a not-so-mobile-friendly blog. (Depending on what kind of phone you have of course.) And you can marvel at my stunning rhetoric and the superior vernacular unique to NikeBlog.com. So point being: you should sign up for the newsletter. I’ll wait to send it out until I have enough enrollments to necessitate it, but it doesn’t look like that will take too long. And feel free to comment below or drop me a line if there’s a particular type of information or feature you’d like to see included in the newsletter. Royalefam Nike Dunk Folsom Prison Blues

Wow. I’m not huge on overly busy shoes, or Ed Hardy type apparel, but these RoyaleFam Nike Dunks are really something special. Inspired by the Johnny Cash song, the Royalefam Folsom Prison Blues Nike Dunks use premium grade selvedge denim, zippers, paint, various designs and just an overall intricate and impressive system of detailing to create a really unique and aesthetically incredible shoe. One could stare at these for a day and not see everything on the shoe. Nike Air Max Swingman Remix

Besides the Jackie Robinson edition, it doesn’t seem like the Nike Air Max Swingman Remix is getting that much pub, which is strange as it’s a pretty clean shoe and an offshoot of one of the more popular classics of the last 15 years, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1. Well the Air Max Swingman Remix, a sort-of hybrid of the Air Griffey Max 1 and 2, has now hit stores, including Nikestore.com. The shoe comes in two colorways, black/varsity red-chrome and white/black-chrome, sports synthetic leather and nubuck on the upper, and uses a Air Max phylon midsole as well as max air in the sole unit. And to top it all off, it only carries a $95 price tag, rather than the $140 the Air Griffey Max 1 will set you back. More pictures after the jump.

Air Jordan 1 High Urban Haze-Dark Army

Yet another Air Jordan 1 High has just appeared, this one the same style as the recently-seen Air Jordan 1 High Dark Obsidian/Cerulean, featuring a suede upper with a perforated side panel and toebox. Unlike that AJ1 however, the Air Jordan 1 High Urban Haze/Dark Army is heavy on the earth tones featuring browns and deep greens on the upper, a white midsole and a gum bottom. These are already the target of some discontent online, but if browns are your style I can’t think of a better shoe. Release information updated as it becomes available. Via TheShoeGame.com.

Nike Hyperize Supreme Decades Pack

Meet the Nike Hyperize Supreme Decades pack: The newest Nike set created to pay homage to some of Nike’s classic shoes including the Air Max 1 Safari, Air Max 90 infrared, Air Max 95 neon and Air Penny Foamposite. Each of the four Hyperize Supremes takes a colorway of one of the four aforementioned classics and assimilates it to fit the Nike Hyperize. The highlight is probably the Nike Hyperize Supreme Decades AM1 Safari, but that’s sort of a given as it uses safari print, and you really can’t go wrong with any of these four. These are expected to hit in Australia as a super-limited release this Friday. While there’s no word as to a US release just yet, I’ll of course update when information becomes available. GI Joe Storm Shadow Zoom Sharkalaid

As they did for Transformers, Nike has collaborated with Hasbro to create the Nike GI Joe Pack, in time for the movie “GI Joe: Rise of the Cobra.” First in the series is the Storm Shadow Sharkalaid, a white Sharkalaid with black straps and red accents, including the Cobra logo on the tongue. We know there will be three shoes in this set, which of course begs the question: Is Snake Eyes next? More pictures after the jump.

Nike Sportswear Fall-Holiday Line: Men's Dunks

Keeping alive the Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday ’09 Line theme that I touched on late last week (AW77 Hoodies here, NSW Tees here), here are the men’s Nike Dunks and Nike Vandal Dunks that are either in stores now or on their way over the next couple of months. We’ve covered a few of these here and there, definitely the “splattered” ones off the top of my head, but here is the entirety of the men’s Nike Sportswear Dunks for Fall. Nike Air 1/2 Cent Metallic Silver/Black

With the Air 1/2 Cent black/silver having recently released to glowing reviews and mass success, good news is on the way. The inverse colorway of that shoe—the Nike Air 1/2 Cent metallic silver/black—will drop in September. This one sports black synthetic material and metallic silver foam on the upper as well as a black and silver outsole and silver Swoosh. It’s of course finished off with a silhouette of Lil Penny on the heal. I suppose this must solidify Penny Hardaway as one of the footwear legends from basketball, as basically all of his shoes are pretty hot. Nike Sportswear AW77 and Graphic Hoodies

After having covered t-shirts in the Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday line, I suppose it only makes sense to cover the hoodies next. The AW77 is a big presence in the fall line, including men’s and women’s full- and half-zips in a wide variety of colors. They’ve also mixed in the men’s graphic FT pullover hoody which I’ve included here as it’s a good fit. For the most part these are already available starting at $80 for the full-zip men’s. Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday Shirts

We’re starting to get a lot more looks at Nike Sportswear’s Fall/Holiday line, although I did publicize a good portion of it a couple of weeks ago, however I’m starting to get better pictures along with official information. First up is the Nike Sportswear T-Shirts; While I covered a couple of shirts yesterday as part of the ongoing Fragment + NSW collab, these shirts today are less-limited and a part of the official Fall line. Most of these are pretty standard—a few jersey-style upside down “10″ shirts and “NSW” plain tees as well as a couple of striped polos—although there is a fairly peculiar shirt with a picture of a peregrine falcon on it.

The women get some love from NSW this Fall as well; while for the most part they just get different cuts of the men’s shirts, they also get possibly the best shirt of the bunch, in the women’s Loopwheeler Rivalry Tee dark heather grey that sports a “LPWR” and “BVTN” on the chest, paying homage to the name of the shirt as well as the location of the company’s HQ.

The Nike Sportswear Fall/Holiday line is hitting stores over the next several months at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Several more posts forthcoming, time-permitting.

Nike Sportswear + Fragment V-Neck Tees

A few more shirts have been released as a result of the ongoing collaborative efforts between Nike and Fragment. The FCRB v-neck tees say “BLACKS” in diagonally descending block letters and sports an anchor logo on the chest. Already at Nike Sportswear @ 21 Mercer St, the t-shirts come in pink, grey, green and blue. More, detailed pictures after the jump.

Mighty Crown Nike Dynasty High Premium

The Nike Dynasty High is set to make a big return in 2010 as a part of the Nike Sportswear line. The shoe was originally released as a basketball shoe in 1981 and has a sort of Dunk High/Terminator feel. And while you will have to wait at least six months to get your hands on the general releases, a super-limited Mighty Crown + Nike collaboration will yield the Mighty Crown Nike Dynasty High Premium a little earlier.

The Mighty Crown Dynasty High, the third shoe created through a joint effort between Nike and the Japanese music group, sports premium materials throughout including perforated and snakeskin leather, studded ankle strap and glittery ankle padding. The Mighty Crown Nike Dynasty High is finished off with a patterned black midsole and red outsole as well as an extended tongue tag emblazoned with a Mighty Crown.

While the shoe is undeniably dope, it was unfortunately created in very limited amounts for the 15th annual Yokohama Reggae Festival. They could get a wider release around the time of the festival on September 5th, but it’s no sure thing. Stick with NB for details.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finals MVP Home

Figure it out Foot Locker. After a couple of release dates were announced, most recently July 25, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV Finals “Home” released a couple of days early. They’re available now at House of Hoops LA in the Beverly Center Mall.
