A brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 is set to hit stores this weekend, but the genesis of its design goes back over two decades.
The shoe starts with the clean, simplicity of white leather on the upper, before raising the volume precipitiously with wildly colorful, brazenly patterned overlays. That print is inspired by Michael Jordan’s outfit in 1993’s classic “Nothing But Net” McDonald’s commercial, which saw MJ face off against Larry Bird in history’s most famous game of H.O.R.S.E.
Feast your eyes on the most detailed photos of the Air Jordan 7 Nothing But Net below, and grab a pair at select retailers on November 14, including independent shops like Rock City Kicks and national accounts like Nike.com at 10am EST/7am PST. The shoe carries the remastered AJ7’s usual $190 price tag.
