Fashion is innovation; it’s constant change, refinement, evolution. And so it is that the Air Jordan 1, perhaps fashion’s most iconic sneaker, undergoes yet another rebirth this year, yielding a new look that’s fresh, striking, yet comfortably familiar: the Air Jordan 1 Deconstructed.
Simplifying the classic silhouette’s instantly recognizable aesthetics, the deconstructed AJ1 swaps in a one-piece canvas upper, with tonal stitching delineating the timeless traditional paneling. The inside of the shoe goes sans liners meanwhile, keeping the profile light and slim; almost summery. The set-up is vaguely in the AJKO vein, yet almost Chuck Taylor in its execution.
The Air Jordan 1 Deconstructed was mistakenly leaked early by Renarts, before quickly being pulled offline. Of course, that likely means a release is, at most, just a few weeks off. Stay tuned.
