Nike Golf continues making inroads into designs that forgo traditional spikes in favor of a go-anywhere traction pattern with its latest links-meet-streets silhouette: the Nike Air Zoom Gimme.
Aesthetically, the new style has as much in common with a Nike Sportswear model as a golf shoe. A light, breathable mesh upper goes laceless with a Presto-like collar, secured with an aggressive, crisscrossing removable strap. That’s built atop a full-length Phylon midsole cushioned with Zoom Air in the heel however, promising enduring comfort over eighteen holes, and a green-friendly Integrated Traction pattern over the outsole for sure footing.
The Nike Air Zoom Gimme will hit shelves this spring (think early March) in a slew of colorways — men’s and women’s alike — with retail in the $125 area. Does the singular style speak to you?
