Always thinking outside the box, Nike tapped a rather unexpected collaborator for its latest promotional endeavor: Krispy Kreme Donuts.
Trading on everyone’s affinity for alliteration, the sportswear giant and fried dough purveyor teamed up on the Nike Ky-rispy Kreme truck. The tricked-out foodtruck tweaks the donut chain’s famous logo to read “The Ky-rispy Kreme” and “Game So Sweet,” and adds special edition Nike Kyrie 2 Ky-rispy Kreme colorways to the mobile offerings. As if brand new Nikes didn’t smell good enough. . . .
It sounds like the Ky-rispy Kreme truck will soon be showing up in hoops hotbeds like Cleveland and Brooklyn, dishing donuts and Kyrie 2s, so keep your eyes peeled and stay hungry.
