We already told you about one historically accurate feature that’ll see its first-ever appearance on a retail Air Jordan 11 Space Jam retro — that’d be the “45” on the heel. But that’s not the only one. . . .
Just like the original, the legendary bringback will boast classic “NIKE AIR” branding on either insole, Jordan Brand having not yet been spun off into a somewhat sovereign entity in 1995.
The shoe’s silhouette and design in general are said to be properly remastered this time out, too — black Cordura mesh, tonal patent leather, the whole nine yards — meaning every inch of the iconic sneaker keeps as faithful to the 21-year-old original as possible.
Check out that subtle but important detail on the 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam below, and keep it locked to NB for continuing developments. A release is expected in mid-to-late December.
