Yesterday, Jordan Brand announced its plan to launch all future remastered retros with throwback “NIKE AIR” branding on the heel. The big reveal was accompanied by photos of a few upcoming retros — such as the already-known Cement IV and Maroon VI — as well as a couple of other teasers. And now, thanks to retailer Deadstock, we potentially have a bit more foreshadowing.
Yes, that is indeed an Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney pictured on a table full of remastered (and unremastered) retros. Does it mean that the classic colorway, with its black base and wheat suede overlay, is absolutely going to retro in 2016? It does not.
But, considering everything else on that table is dropping in 2015 or ’16, does it bode well for a possible Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney release in the coming year? Why yes, I’d say it does.
Details as they develop. . . .
