In 1966, the Miami Dolphins entered the NFL in a way hitherto unseen in that league: wearing aqua, orange and white. In 2015, they’ll celebrate the franchise’s 50th season with a return to that original look.
The new Dolphins throwback uniform features a solid aqua jersey with contrast white and orange stripes along each sleeve, a vivid style that pairs perfectly with the white helmet and pants.
Fresh, clean and historically accurate, the Miami Dolphins will wear their new throwback uniform on December 14, a Monday night home game against the New York Giants. That will mark just the second time the Dolphins have worn a throwback alternate, and the first since a 40-21 2003 victory over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
The fan jersey is available beginning today, July 29.
