You’ve seen plenty of folks lace up Air Jordan 11s while getting married — that dressy patent leather perfectly pairing with a tuxedo — but there was never a pair actually built for matrimony. Until now.
Acclaimed sneaker customizer Dank & Co. created the Air Jordan 11 Low Wedding Day for just such an occasion, completely cloaking the lowtop XI in black, from the Cordura upper to the patent leather mudguard and even the midsole and outsole. Sleek and simple, the aesthetic perfectly plays up the signature style of the XI with a colorway fit for . . . well, a wedding. The line between sneaker and dress shoe has never been blurrier.
Adding a bit of personalization for the happy couple, the date of the big day is embroidered on the left tongue, and the bride and groom’s initials are emblazoned on the right, along with interconnected rings representing unbreakable marital bliss.
Of course, the Air Jordan 11 Low Wedding Day is a custom, so a launch isn’t coming. Would you like to see an all-black edition drop?
