The latest eye-catching style from Nike Skateboarding reaches back into your history book for its design, a unique motif dubbed “Dazzle” and inspired by naval history.
During World War I, military ships would employ a wild geometric shape zigging and zagging all over their exteriors, the “dazzle” pattern used to disrupt enemy rangefinders and mislead the eye as to the ship’s true position. Conspicuous confusion as it were, rather than clandestine concealment.
The Nike SB Dunk High Dazzle releases this Saturday, December 13, similarly confusing through conspicuous good looks, rather than blending in with understated aesthetics, by donning that same black-and-white geometric print. Grab a pair at select shops, including Nike.com at 8am EST, and stay tuned for a look at the Nike Lunarendor Snowboarding Boot Dazzle later today.
