The Air Jordan 13 Grey Toe releases tomorrow, November 15; not just a dope drop — though it is that — but a small piece of history.
See, the 2014 iteration of the “Grey Toe” is not merely a slightly modified version of the 2004 release. Rather, this is a direct re-creation of an OG sample from 1998 that never made it to retail, owing to some quality control issues. (Couldn’t figure out how to keep the red dye from running, say the rumors.) Well, they’ve been solved and the shoe is finally set to launch, mixing red suede with quilted white leather and a grey toe whose color extends all the way up through the tongue. (That’s the primary difference between this and that ’04 edition, which rocked a white tongue.)
Pick up a pair tomorrow, November 15, at select retailers nationwide, including online accounts beginning at 8am EST. You’ll be able to buy it here on Eastbay.com.
