The latest Team USA basketball uniforms have reportedly leaked, a less conventional patterned style that will be worn in the FIBA Basketball World Cup later this year.
Available in both white and navy editions, each uniform features the latest in Nike’s performance innovation, from Dri-FIT construction for better moisture-wicking and breathability to a sleeker, slimmer, more anatomical fit for reduced weight and bulk.
Sporting a similar custom “USA” font as seen on the 2012 Olympic gear — rendered in a different angle, however, peaking up, rather than down — each boasts a solid-colored body, standing in stark contrast to bold color-blocking around the shoulders — starting solid, then gradually fading out. That same gradient shift appears at the leg openings on the shorts.
While the aesthetics you see here are what you can expect to see on the hardwood in Spain come end of August, the pictured uniforms are retail editions, meaning fit, materials and other details will vary a bit.
