Something about the next KD VI colorway’s ostensible “Brazil” inspiration always seemed a bit off, though Nikeblog was certainly complicit in promulgating the fallacious sobriquet. Most of the country’s national colors aren’t present and there’s no country-specific branding, even though Nike has the rights to use Brazil’s logos. Perhaps that’s because the KD VI Brazil in fact . . . isn’t the KD VI Brazil. Behold, what’s actually the Nike KD VI Night Vision.
Visually informed by the eponymous technology, the shoe takes on that particular family of colors, with a glossy black upper, bright green contrasting on the inner-lining, outsole and branding, and a pop of atomic mango on the Air-Sole.
This Saturday, May 24, is the day your feet can finally see in the dark, with retail set for $130 and Nike.com stocking the shoe at 8am EDT. Is this a must-add for your collection?
