We previously reported that 2014 would see an Air Jordan 6 Sport Blue release date, and today we can nail it down. The classic Jordan, one of the best OG colorways to have never been retroed (until now), will hit retailers August 30 in the US.
Known to some as the “September Blue” VI — the original box listed the color as “WH/SPT BL-BLK,” thus ambiguity was born, though it’s since been clarified — the shoe sports classic blocking for the VI, simply with a different accent color: white leather upper; black collar, tongue and heel; royal blue through the midsole.
Being an OG colorway, and one that’s been absent from retailers for 23 years, expect a lot of buzz to surround this release. It’ll be available in a full size run, from men’s down to infant, with the former retailing for the usual $170. Stay tuned for photos and further details.
