The “ICE” concept comes to another Air Max runner this week, albeit merely aesthetically. While the Nike Air Max Plus Ice doesn’t sport the no-sew Hyperfuse construction and translucent element that are hallmarks of the Air Max 90 Ice — indeed, in this case it’s simply the colorway’s nickname — the visual experience is similar.
Volt and two-tone grey are coupled together in a geometric pattern, printed all over the mesh upper and complemented by volt overlays. Black starkly contrasts on the leather trim and textile inner-lining, as well as the classic rubber midsole.
There’s no expectation that the shoe, also known as the Tuned 1 and TN 1, will hit stateside retailers — it almost never does, except for that one time it did — but these can be had now at Foot Locker EU.
