The Buckeyes will take the field November 30 at Michigan in a brand new alternate look, dubbed the 2013 Ohio State Rivalry Uniforms.
Rather than a complete overhaul, the Buckeyes will wear more of an updated look against the archrival Wolverines. Being the road team, tOSU will wear white, but they’ll do so to an uncommon degree. The Bucks will swap out their usual silver pants in favor of white breeches, with a familiar triple-stripe running down each leg in black/scarlet/black. Above, the jersey features the usual road white, but the shoulder stripes are broadened and the numbers appear to go a bit larger, as well as donning a silver outline.
And finally, as we tend to see from Ohio State alternate uniforms, the team will strap on a revised helmet, employing their tradtional silver paint-job but with significantly wider stripes down the center that mix their black, white and scarlet.
The special Ohio State uniforms for The Game will debut November 30, with no further word on sartorial switch-ups before that game or after. Also of note, it’s probably a safe bet the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 Ohio State release will align with The Game, to some degree.
