College hoops season draws ever nearer, which means you can expect to see plenty of new uniforms within a matter of weeks. Or today, for that matter. Introducing the new orange Miami Hurricanes basketball uniforms.
Exactly what they sound like, the new ‘Canes unis are . . . predominantly orange. The color builds out the majority of the shorts and jersey, with the latter featuring green letters and numbers, as well as a green-and-white double-stripe on each shoulder. On the back, Nike’s signature Aerographic panel is printed with school-specific graphics, including the U’s mascot, Sebastian the Ibis.
Presuming Miami will retain their previous set of uniforms as well, this will make four total for the Hurricanes — white at home, green on the road, and black and now orange alternates.
