Just two days ago we shared the joyous news that the Nike Air Python will return to shelves in 2013, more than 25 years since its original, severely-limited-in-the-US release. Today we get another photo of this year’s release edition and, if possible, it may look even better than in the official Nike-furnished media photos.
Pictured here is the white/silver version, which adds silver snakeskin-styled leather to the tongue, quarter panel and heel of a silhouette that obviously takes inspiration from the Air Jordan II and Air Force II. The “scales” beautifully alternate between shiny and matte, depending on the angle, while solid grey liner deftly complements.
The Air Python White/Silver releases in September, with a white/brown pair set to drop the following month.
