Yet another football club will debut their first-ever Nike uniforms in the coming season, as today we get look at the new FC Anji home kit.
Situated in Dagestan, a republic of Russia, the club was founded in 1991 with a focus on strength of character and respect for the traditions of its fans and hometown. Those ideologies inform the kit’s new design, most notably by maintaining their traditional palette of green and yellow, blending the two together on an ombré shirt that starts yellow at the shoulders and fades to green at the hemline.
That fade allows the yellow shorts, which feature vertical green stripes on the side of each leg, to stand in stark contrast to the shirt, depsite utilizing the same tones.
The club’s traditional eagle crest adorns the shirt at left-breast, as well as the right leg of the shorts.
