You’ve seen a handful of leaked images and now, ahead of the official Nike Hyperdunk 2013 release date in July, we’ve got detailed (and official) images of the next shoe in the ever-evolving Nike Basketball franchise.
The latest iteration was designed by Peter Fogg, who’s built his name creating some iconic models for Nike Running and ACG, such as the Air Zoom Tallac, Air Terra Humara, Zoom Terra Sertig, Ashiko and Structure Triax.
With the Hyperdunk 2013, Fogg engineered a shoe that would move naturally with the foot while continuing the progression of ever-lighter hoops shoes that’s expected of the Hyperdunk line. Three of the Swoosh’s most innovative technologies are incorporated to accomplish the ideal on-court model: Dynamic Flywire support, Hyperfuse construction and Lunarlon cushioning.
The result is a minimalist design that’s stabilized, supportive and cushioned, yet extremely lightweight and moves with the foot naturally, almost as an extension of the body.
The Nike Hyperdunk 2013 release date is set for July 20th globally, with several colorways already on tap.
