Tonight, after literally years of rumors, the long-awaited Oregon State rebranding effort comes to fruition.
The Beavers introduced a new Oregon State logo to go along with new uniforms and an entirely new brand, created with an eye toward a modernized philosophy that looks to the future while embracing OSU values and tradition.
The school enlisted the help of Nike, their official athletics outfitter, with specific input from such Swoosh luminaries as Tinker Hatfield and Todd Van Horne. The result is a comprehensive identity overhaul from the top down, including new Oregon State logos, fonts, marks and everything in between. The original orange, black and white colors remain, though they’re now augmented with a metallic bronze that will be used minimally for trim and accenting.
The new font is inspired by OSU history, utilizing the school’s classic script but adding a new edge.
Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen: the new Oregon State uniforms, logos and identity.
