We can’t very well look at the upcoming line of Jack Purcells and not do likewise for the Converse All Star Summer 2013 Collection, even if the shoes aren’t exactly Nikes.
The world’s most recognizable shoe (right?) incorporates a number of aesthetic and functional overhauls, including stylish prints (camo, animal, floral) and colors (neon dyes), and a few styles that could be deemed new models altogether. The latter includes the Chuck Taylor Shoreline — a casual throw-on shoe with an elastic back and stretchy laces — and the Chuck Taylor All Star Chuckout, which infuses the familiar silhouette with breathable woven mesh through the upper and a neoprene sockliner.
Best of all? All of these can be had for between $55 and $75, with most falling in the $60ish range.
