New Ohio State Uniforms for Michigan Game
The new Ohio State uniforms debut tonight, when the Buckeyes take on Michigan in Ann Arbor. Part of the Hyper Elite Road Uniform line, the special one-off OSU set sports scarlet coloring and silver accenting and letters and numbers, while an oversized school logo adorns the jersey’s chest — a chest absent typical school/team script — and “BUCKEYES” appears on the back nameplate. These are all ugly. That is all.
Not just these, but all of them. They are all ugly. They all look like practice uniforms. IU stomped Michigan State in theirs, and I for one hope Michigan does the same to the Buckeyes, so that some of these teams will start to get a bad taste in their mouth towards these unis.
I’m really surprised that some of these schools are even going with these unis. Kentucky has a history of ugly unis going back to the 90s, but Duke and G’town? Even Texas had a nice, if simple, kit.
