Rory McIlroy has agreed to an endorsement mega-deal with Nike, according to Fox Sports’ Robert Lusetich, one that will make him the highest paid player in the Nike Golf stable.

While neither Nike nor McIlroy’s camp would confirm the deal, Lusetich’s sources indicate the 10-year contract will pay the world’s number one-ranked golfer a staggering $200 million at the least, and perhaps as much as $250 million.

Despite a lack of official confirmation, McIlroy has apparently already filmed his first ad for the Swoosh, a TV spot that also stars Nick Watney, Kyle Stanley and Tiger Woods. Woods was reportedly instrumental in helping Nike recruit McIlroy.
