New Appalachian State Uniform (Home Alternate)

One of the more famous FCS programs thanks to their huge upset of Michigan in 2007, a new alternate Appalachian State uniform was unveiled today by the school.

The Marching Mountaineers will sport a Nike Pro Combat jersey, with all the technological advancements of that series and the typical visible Flywire in the shoulders — gold against the black jersey — as well as new gold helmet with a vintage version of their mascot Yosef adorning each side. (Yosef also appears on the jersey sleeves, in place of TV numbers.) Finally, helmet-matching gold pants finish the kit, with a black-gold-black triple stripe down each leg.

ASU will wear the alternate uniform September 29th against Coastal Carolina, after which the gear will be auctioned off. A line of apparel featuring the vintage Yosef logo will also release prior to the game.
