Nike & Tom Sachs Present NIKECraft Collection

Nike goes ‘high concept art’ today with a preview of the Nike x Tom Sachs NIKECraft collection. Inspired by space travel, Sachs’s current artistic muse, every piece here features materials and construction that would be suitable in space, designed in Sachs’s signature DIY style.

Materials are taken from wide-ranging objects, such as automotive air bags, boat mainsails and even spacesuits, and each apparel piece is the apex of functionality, with storage containers attached to zipper pulls and a paracord that doubles as a tourniquet, to name a couple.
