A week ago Niketown Portland closed to make way for a new Nike Portland store that would fully encapsulate the Nike Experience. Today Nike Portland opened to much fanfare and accolades (it was even LEED certifed, meaning it’s environmentally-friendly). As much museum as store, the look and feel of the new space is truly remarkable. If you live in Portland, you really ought to head downtown (SW 5th and Morrison, to be precise, in the Kress Building), but if you’re far enough away that that’s not really a feasible option, here are a few photos of the new digs, including sections devoted to Jordan Brand, Nike Running, Nike Soccer, LeBron, NIKEiD, Nike Sportswear, et al.
