Nike LeBron 9 | Release Date, NIKEiD, Official Unveiling

The Nike LeBron 9 was officially unveiled by Nike today, giving us some information that we already had, as well as some new details. The tech is largely what we already knew—Hyperfuse construction through the toe, Flywire 3.0 through most of the upper for lightweight stability, 180 Max Air in the heel, Zoom Air through the forefoot, lightweight injected Phylon midsole, carbon fiber textile wings.

We did get some firm release updates today however, as well as some NIKEiD news. The Nike LeBron 9 release date will come October 1st, around the time we expected, but that will be limited to China. In the US, beginning October 14th, limited edition LeBron 9 college colorways will be available, followed by another limited release of a “Cannon” colorway on October 15th. Finally, the shoe will hit US stores in the pictured black/red-white colorway on October 25th in a wide release.

And for the first time ever, a LeBron signature shoe will be available on NIKEiD.com. The Nike LeBron 9 ID will be available to preview on the website on October 11th, and will be available for sale on October 25th in the US, China, Europe and Japan.
