Nike x Liu Xiang – LX Collection

Elite hurdler Liu Xiang gets the superhero treatment in China, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Nike has designed a new collection around Liu, with the primary retail target being his home country. Set to release on September 1st, the LX Collection features several pieces, such as the Nike Free Run 2, LunarGlide 3 and a few different jackets, inspired by Liu himself and emblazoned with his graphic logo, “LX” logo and/or his name in Chinese characters. Best of all, the collection includes pieces designed for both men and women. The special edition packaging seen below is limited to a run of 86, mainly reserved for VIP’s although a lucky purchaser of an early-release pack tomorrow at Beijing Sanlitun Nike Store will have a shot at winning one.
