UPDATE (10/4): The gloves from the first 3 teams to actually wear the uniforms (BSU, VT, TCU) are now for sale. Click here for more information.
Continuing with today’s theme of Nike Pro Combat uniforms, check out one of the smallest, but most eye-catching pieces of the uniforms: the Nike Pro Combat gloves. Each team gets their own pair (check out Oregon’s from the Rose Bowl here), featuring an outside which sports team colors, accenting and themes and a palm that features half the school’s initials on each hand, creating the full image when put together. (If that was confusing just check the below gallery, you’ll see what I mean.) Pictures of all of them after the cut. And check out the non-cleat shoes here.

all these gloves are sick but its too bad that they are not on retail for the public cause people would buy them.
AHHHH – I want those Ohio State gloves – any word on public purchase?
Not yet, but anything can happen. Last year the Pro Combat stuff did pop up for sale very briefly.
they need to put these up for sale
i am a huge alabama fan and i would buy these anyday but on eastbay.com they have the boise state, virginia tech, and tcu, gloves for sale for 44.99 but they need to put the rest up for sale
@Brooks: they only have those teams’ Huarache Trainer shoes for sales coming this Friday as well, being that they’re the only teams to have worn the Pro Combat uniforms yet. So basically, look for the Bama gloves to go on sale sometime after November 13th, when Bama breaks out their Pro Combat unis against MSU.
[...] Nike Vapor Jet Premium Rivalry gloves are starting to hit stores finally, better known as the Nike Pro Combat Gloves. Now available at eastbay and NikeStore.com fro $45 are the gloves from the first three Pro Combat [...]
very interested in nike vapor alabama gloves. can we be notified when they go on sale? thanks.
@Lisa: yeah, check back after Bama wears their Pro Combat uniforms (MSU game) and they’ll either be on sale or I’ll have more information.
Can we be informed when they go on sale(like a list/e-mail) or just keep checking back. Been looking/wainting for these gloves to come out. Love them!! Thanks!
Sorry talking about the Alabama Nike Pro combat gloves! Leah
[...] Party. The uniform draws heavy inspiration from the Gator mascot, featuring a scale pattern on the gloves, helmet, base layer and numbers. Check out looks at every aspect of the uniform under the cut, and [...]
For those still looking for Alabama-
Eastbay now has the Alabama and Florida gloves for sale, along with TCU, VT, and Boise..
I really want to get the WVU gloves for my son for Christmas, but I can’t find ANYWHERE to buy them. Any help?????
@Kathy: Like the other teams’ gloves, they won’t be available until around the time that WVU actually wears them (during the Backyard Brawl, November 26th), so check back around then. So far, eastbay.com has wound up getting all the gloves. And they typically have taken pre-orders a few days before the game.
Lots of pro combat stuff for sale on eBay right now! Gloves, jerseys too! Way expensive though. Gloves going for $50 a pair and jerseys going for upwards of $180. Too rich for my broke ass.
Yeah… great frickin idea. Thanks so much to Nike for the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties at today’s Ohio State game for providing these m@#$@#$ F^$&^&%^ing gloves to our team.
AHHHH – I want those Ohio State gloves – any word on public purchase?
@reallytired: No word yet, but they’ll surely release just as the gloves of teams who have already worn their Pro Combat unis have released.
Cool gloves, but you need to clear this stuff with the NCAA before hand. Designs that lead to penalties are gonna cause Nike issues. You’re getting your chance to play with the big boys in the NCAA and they’re pretty persnickety. This isn’t Oregon anymore…
The refs doing the OSU/MI game yesterday had to be the worst of the season. They nearly ruined the game with constant bad calls. Even the broadcasters were upset with the calls.
Worst REFS EVER
thats all i gotta say about that.
Ohio State gloves will be on sale once again on December 2nd on Eastbay.com. I asked them if i could change my order of the Florida gloves to a different team and they said they were getting a new shipment of Ohio State and Oregon State gloves on 12/2/10. They currently have TCU, WV, and FLorida Gloves.
Sorry Eastbay.com has Virginia Tech not West Virginia
Good info GoBucks: Also, NikeStore.com has Pitt and Oregon State gloves now.
I hope i helped people searching for the gloves like myself.
And in case anyone was doubtful, I had an email in yesterday that was responded to today: gobucks speaks the truth! I have a product # too if anyone needs it.
thanks for the confirmation Sir Lucas Leftfoot. Buckeye Fans don’t lie haha
Sir Lucas Leftfoot could you please send me that Product Number??? I would greatly appreciate it! I have been looking for these gloves ever since they came out.
It’s 19023012 and it should be on Eastbay tomorrow.
I’ve been checking all day online and didn’t see them. So I called the 1-800 number and was able to order them over the phone
I tried calling and was told they never got any in. and not sure if/when they will be getting the Ohio St. gloves. how were you able to order them?
I called the 800 number on their website and entered the prompt to place an order. I gave the woman on the phone the item number someone gave above and she said they were in stock. So I placed the order over the phone. I received an email today confirming my order and it said I would receive another email when it is shipped. The woman on the phone said it takes 24 to 48 hours to ship out. So, I guess I’ll know if I’m getting the gloves when I receive another email
Uhg guess I’m way late. I called the # for eastbay and gave them the product # and they said sold out and no back order.
You think they will make any more team logos other than the ones listed? SEC teams? Auburn, South Carolina?
@Stephen: Both Auburn and South Carolina wear Under Armour so … no, there’s not a strong chance. Not sure about SC, but I know that Under Armour made some quasi-similar gloves for Auburn for the BCS National Championship. I saw them on the Twitter account of CNBC’s Darren Rovell, so you can check there if you want to see them. (Although I’m sure Google would yield similar results.)
so can you still buy the ohio state gloves?
@Matt: Not on Eastbay. Maybe on eBay.
Hey Lucas…do you know if theyre goignt o release the LSU gloves with the two tiger eyes on the Palm side?
I need those bOise gloves extremely bad. Someone please help me find them. I’ve looked everywhere that I can think. Someone please point me in the right direction. Please.
Ebay just sold a pair of those Buckeye gloves for 130.00
So I can get the OSU gloves at Eastbay?
@David: Oregon State? Yep, both sizes. Ohio State? No, sold out for quite some time.
I still cannot find the bama gloves they are sold out on nike store.com and eastbay doesn’t have the gloves where should I check now
do they have florida state combat gloves?
@Go Noles: No, not for sale anyway.
i can’t find the Boise State receiver gloves at eastbay or Nike.com where would they be at?
does anybody know if they have these for cal berkely
Sir Lucas Leftfoot,
Any word on where to get the Alabama gloves? Everywhere seems to be sold out…thanks in advance.
@Bingus: No, sorry. At this point a restocking is pretty unlikely, so the only real option is eBay. That, and hope that Bama does the Pro Combats again next season, as that would likely result in an updated release.
went are the alabama gloves back in STOCK
There’s a pair of bama and Ohio State gloves here:

Michigan State had them for the bowl game. Anyone know if you can purchase them?
