Virginia Tech is kicking off the season against Boise State, and while we know they’ll at some point rock a special edition Nike Pro Combat uniform, it’s looking like it will be in that very game against the blue Broncos. And now gobblercountry.com has unleashed a preview of what the uniform will likely be. The look goes all black, with Hokie-purple on the trim and numbers and a sort of circuitry look going on inside the latter. Certainly something that Va Tech fans will automatically dislike because it’s different and it uses black, which isn’t one of their team colors, but really it’s not a bad look at all. And anything to knock off those Broncos. Supposedly all the teams that will wear special Pro Combat uniforms will have said unis unveiled on September 1st, so make sure you check back with us in a couple of days.
