The shoe’s name is borrowed from its designer, the Chrome Ball Incident skate blog, which in turn is taken from an old Neil Blender cartoon, while the design has some throwback roots, using a colorway inspired by the old Airwalk Enigma line while the scissors embroidered on the ankle pays tribute to the bygone trend of cutting down hightops into mid or low skate shoes.
