In anticipation of the 2010 French Open starting in about a week here, Nike has put together some impressive footwear and apparel for five of the top tennis players signed to the Swoosh, including of course Roger Federer. Sort of surprising when looking at the pack, is how damn good Nike has made tennis shoes look again, in this case the Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tour which features a Flywire-infused upper and Lunarlite throughout the sole unit, resulting in a 13 ounce shoe, Nike’s lightest court tennis shoe ever.
The apparel is just as nice too, as Federer gets the Nike All Court RF Clay Polo and the All Court Clay Woven Short, both featuring lightweight Dri-FIT material. The shirt comes in a vibrant bluegrass color while the shorts feature a classy white look perfect for the tennis court.
