Nike Air Penny 3 Eggplant

About a month ago I previewed the Air Penny 3 in a white/varsity red-black colorway, and while it wasn’t exactly met with applause, there was some interest in applying other Foamposite One color schemes to the Air Penny 3. I have a feeling this one will be much more popular. The Air Penny 3 Eggplant features a white-based upper mixed with eggplant Foamposite piecing as well as a little purple above the heel and on the outsole. People are occasionally skeptical of non-OG retros, but could this inspire the same excitement as the Copper Foamposite One? Release is scheduled for June 18th, 2010. More pictures after the jump.
