Nike is known for having really cool ads (doesn’t hurt that their agency is Wieden+Kennedy, the gold standard of ad agencies), and I’m always really intrigued by Nike SB ads because they have an entirely different feel to them, aiming toward a demographic that really embraces the “support your local” mentality and doesn’t necessarily want to see a high budget, corporate-monster type of ad, instead favoring displays of high performance and passion for the sport. The point of all this, of course, is that Nike SB has a new print ad out (full size here), which will find its way into the aforementioned local skate shops in time for the March 2010 release of the new Nike SB Omar Salazar pro model. I think the ad works well, but then I’m not the target market (I don’t do much skating). If you are, feel free to put in your two cents in the comments sections. And check out several colorways of Omar’s new shoe after the jump. Via N-SB.org.
