DJ Clark Kent’s East Warriors for Nike Sportswear

So apparently the DJ Clark Kent Air Force 1 East is actually part of a greater set, inspired by a fictional sports team created by the DJ himself, similar to the gimmick Nike did with renowned designers and the varsity jacket. DJ Clark Kent’s mission however, was to create his own team representing his city, New York, and illustrate that team using three of Nike Sportswear’s icons: the Air Force 1, the NSW Tee and the AW77 hoodie. The challenge? Outdo Los Angeles’s Eddie Cruz of Undefeated, charged with the same task but with the goal of representing his own LA-inspired team. The result? A classic rivalry pitting right coast against left coast. New York vs. LA. East “Warriors” vs. West “Destroyers.” Check out the preview of DJ Clark Kent’s entire East Warriors set, releasing Black Friday, November 27th, although there is a special event for a limited run of the shoe tomorrow night, November 25th at 21 Mercer in NYC. Not a ton of information about Eddie Cruz’s Destroyers pack yet, although I’m guessing the same day at either the Nike Sportswear store at the Montalbán in Hollywood or at Cruz’s Undefeated stores.
