With everyone getting their own Nike Trainer 1, from John McEnroe and Bo Jackson to Manny Pacquiao and the Oregon Ducks, why not New York City? The Nike Trainer 1 “NYC” features a Yankees-inspired navy and white colorway (I agree, it looks black) with “NEW” on one heel and “YORK” on the other, as well as “NYC” on the tongue. Touching on the Yankees again, the red insoles feature the every number retired by the New York Yankees. Although 42 isn’t one of them and technically every MLB team has that number retired, but I digress. Look for these within two weeks at Foot Lockers here and there.
